Reporting to the Management Accountant, this is a well-rounded finance role ideal for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be involved in everything from monthly reporting and reconciliations to VAT returns, audit support, and budgeting—making this a great opportunity to grow your finance career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly balance sheet accounts and maintain accurate revenue data.
- Conduct profit & loss analysis and compile monthly financial reports.
- Maintain fixed asset register and load trade agreement documents into system.
- Perform foreign exchange revaluations and intercompany netting.
- Prepare VAT returns and monitor daily bank statements for reconciliation.
- Support Management Accounting with inventory reserve calculations.
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely invoicing.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.
- Contribute to budget planning and forecasting processes.
- Handle ad-hoc finance tasks and provide cross-functional support as needed.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in accounts or finance roles is essential.
- AAT Qualified (Or currently studying) or equivalent finance qualification.
- Communication skills, especially when speaking with customers.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Experience of working with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities within the department.
