Business Development Specialist

Business Development Specialist (Ph.D. in Analytical/Bio-analytics)
Location: Tokyo, Japan – Open to all nationalities

About the Role
We’re seeking a Ph.D.-level scientist (Analytical or Bio-analytical Chemistry) who can blend deep scientific knowledge with a market-development mindset. You’ll guide customers in optimizing sample prep workflows (HPLC, LC-MS, etc.), help shape our market strategies, and contribute to driving innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical consultation on analytical methods and workflows.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop scientific content and application notes.
  • Identify new business opportunities, leveraging scientific expertise to propose effective solutions.
  • Engage closely with customers to understand challenges and recommend optimized approaches.

What We’re Looking For

  • Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Bioanalysis, or a closely related field.
  • Strong command of HPLC, LC-MS/MS, and sample preparation techniques.
  • Business-level Japanese proficiency (or higher) and solid English skills.
  • Passion for bridging science and market expansion, plus willingness to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
